8^th Security Police Squadron, Ubon RTAFB 1972

The 8^th SPS protected the Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base, home of the famous 8^th TFW “Wolf Pack”. The base came under attack by North Vietnamese sappers three times between 1969 and 1972, and each time the 8^th SPS personnel stopped the infiltrators before they could destroy any aircraft.
